Winnaber was a pilgrimage

To the edge of the Atlantic

Where surging breakers plunge

Onto the coast of gold

From Antarctic south

Bringing the warmth of former days

And emptying them on the sands

Where a troubled soul finds peace

As she signs her name

To engage in war

By an altar

Cemented into the rocks of time.

where Cobi Maasbommel signed her Articles of War.
