Siruvani - The Still Small Voice

  • Print

The small waters of a summer's heat

Cascade down the Kovai Gorge

Quietly showering the spray of gentle sprinkling

To cool hot feet and a troubled mind

Agonising over problems

Left behind on the plain.

And we walk silent before our Maker

Expecting the torrential sound of falling waters

But find instead the still small voice within

Echoing past understanding with future directions

Quietly formed from whence we've come

Renewed by the flowing stream.
