The artist tries to make sense
Of the architect's blend with nature
As elements of earth, sky and water meet
The river darkening under a clouding sky
As rumours of war rumble overhead
Down the passageway of time 
Into the square mile of high-rises
To the centre-point of wealth and riches
While those who have none,
Content themselves with the simpler life
Of gazing in awe and inner peace 
As the dove delivers an olive branch
With the heron looking on in scorn
Waiting for something better.
