The kind of service others sometimes shun

We give together, facing worlds unseen

Recognising hopes which once had been

Submerged beneath what history had done.

Our wholeness formed in the partnership of grace

In others' healing - their community.

We look at them and see our changing face,

Respectful gaze of shared humanity.
