The Wrestlers

Yet known from birth;

Following as second
Wanting to be first;
Claiming a blessing
Not rightfully his
Now confirmed by the stranger
Over whom he triumphs.
Left with a limp
And dislocated hip
But with arms open
To embrace a brother
With a new name
And nature transformed
As he offers a hand
In the gesture of peace.
