The High Council comes to Calvary

In search of the one lifted up and crucified with Christ,

Surrendering personal ambition at the foot of the cross,

Submitting thought to the test of discernment,

Desiring only to know the mind that was in Christ

Together, and with the one chosen to lead an Army

Raised to proclaim Christ to a broken world

Seeking resurrection life for its future.

And a calm joy descends with the gift of peace,

As obedient hearts move forward together

Each ready to take up the cross of their own salvation

And the world's transformation,

With the Holy Spirit breathing agreement

And willingness to go with the leaving members.
