Walk slowly down the path,
Leaving excitement behind 
The joys of discovery,
The sadness of the past,
The pursuit of freedom,
A willingness to die -
Knowing it could have been you.
 
So, determination grows
To follow their footsteps 
And to hope for a future
Of respect and understanding 
For all - yes all
In the world of today
And tomorrow.
