Damsel or dragon zigzagging the air
Skating the sky at light year speeds, 
Leaving trails of floaters flashing?
Not sure quite where to land 
Until planet earth says okay:
Put your feet down here 
But stay ready for a speedy take-off;
It's hardly safe here these days,
So she stays horizontal, defying gravity
As the unfed crow eyes his prey 
Ready to gobble her down. 
But she gets away in time 
Escaping his clutches 
Proving she was a dragon after all.
